This Model 89 Teak Dining Chair designed by Erik Buch was produced in the 1960's by Oddense Maskinsnedkeri Møbelfabrik.

The chairs have a solid teak frame and, like all of Erik Buch's chairs, are characterized by high-quality materials, solid craftsmanship, Scandinavian aesthetics, and comfortable seating.

The chairs will be fully restored and refinished in our workshop to ensure that they are in excellent condition. We can work with you on custom upholstery from a wide variety of styles, materials, and colors in fabric, leather, faux leather, tapestry, etc. Upholstery is at additional cost.

HISTORY Danish industrial designer Erik Buch (pronounced Buck) was born in 1923 in Copenhagen. Buch used simple organic, smooth lines to craft distinctive mid-century modern designs. Like many of his Danish contemporaries, Buch combined fabric and leather with nicely grained woods, such as polished teak, oak, and rosewood.
