FURNITURE RESTORATION
At Danish Modern Design we have a full professional workshop with all the tools needed to restore almost any piece of furniture to its original condition. We take pride in the integrity of our work and take great pleasure in renewing quality Danish and Mid Century Modern furniture to be enjoyed by future generations.
We restore all the furniture we sell and we also offer restoration services to our clients. If you have a piece to be restored, send us an e-mail with a description of the issues and photos to show the condition so we can formulate an estimate for you.
Our professional restoration process can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 16 weeks on average as an estimate. It’s typically not possible to quote an exact timeframe since the needs and condition of each piece can be so different. We take customers in-order and expedite each project as quickly as possible while maintaining the integrity of our work.
STRIPPING & SANDING IMPERFECTIONS
Your piece is carefully stripped and sanded to remove dents, dings and discoloration. We then inspect the piece for loose joints or other imperfections which we then repair before moving on to the next stage.
Oiling, Sealing & Finishing
Each piece is unique and has its own requirements. We use only the highest quality professional products by Mohawk and others to provide an attractive and durable finish as much as possible like the original finish when it was new!
FABRIC & LEATHER Upholstery
Each piece can be customized using your fabrics or leathers or your choice of many options available. A professional upholsterer completes the job and your piece is ready for final inspection.
THOROUGH Final Inspection
We inspect for quality and finish and then prepare for in-person pickup or delivery as desired. Your elegant, modern, quality furniture is good to use for the next 60 years!
